Christmas Tree Stand Knob
thingiverse
I'm using my Christmas tree stand, which comes equipped with four 5/16" (8mm?) threaded rods that allow me to adjust the tree's position in the stand. The back of each rod is free from threads and features a 90-degree bend about an inch from the end, resembling a miniature Allen wrench. To secure them tightly, little red plastic caps were included, which could be placed over the rod ends to form a T shape, enabling manual tightening to straighten out the tree. However, I've since misplaced some of these caps, and finding it challenging to get a tight fit without them has been a problem. That's why I created this X-handle upgrade to replace the original design.
