Elegant, intricately-designed Holiday Tree optimized for use with dual-extrude 3D printers. Its unique perforated branches allow effortless interior lighting with LEDs or low-watt bulbs. For best results, it's recommended to enable break-away supports during printing; however, successful prints have been achieved without them, as evident in the photo of the green tree. The examples shown were printed using Makerware software, set at both high and standard resolutions (.10 mm - .15 mm), in ABS material. This beautifully crafted design originated in SolidWorks and has been converted to STL and .thing formats for versatile compatibility. To facilitate 2-color printing, users can combine the two included STL files by aligning their origins and scaling as needed in their preferred 3D printer software.
