Christmas Tree Sapin Noël flash

Christmas is just around the corner, and this is my special gift to you. I used up all the remaining LEDs from my Wind Turbine model project to create a unique Christmas tree design. The idea was to add these flashing LEDs into a festive Christmas tree. You can check out the video of my creation on YouTube: https://youtu.be/B2nvWs3Sqds. This design is simple yet elegant, featuring 5-point stars with three sections. Each section can be adjusted to not align all points perfectly, giving it a unique look. I used just one LED per section, but you can add more wherever you like - simply connect them to the 3V power source and they'll start flashing. To assemble the tree, I used some small wires from LAN cables and added a switch at the bottom with a battery for easy on/off control. Spacers were designed separately to optimize light propagation, and all parts were printed without support as a challenge - but feel free to print them with supports if you prefer. I printed the tree sections with their tops facing down, which helped with the assembly process. To assemble the tree, follow these steps: 1. Attach the spacers to the star points using glue. 2. Fit the LED supports into place and add some glue to secure them. 3. Connect the LEDs in parallel and test them with a battery. 4. Assemble the three sections by fitting the LED supports into the spacers. 5. Print the lower tree section in brown (or any other color you like) and assemble it with the rest of the tree. 6. Attach the base to the tree using two wood screws (3x12 mm). 7. Add a finishing touch by gluing on a flat star shape to close the lower tree section. 8. Finally, attach the top yellow star and battery - and you're done! This isn't the most impressive Christmas tree design, but I had a blast creating it, and it's been a hit with my wife. In fact, she's seen it and now I have a few orders to fill! Don't worry, there are plenty of flashing LEDs left over. Happy Christmas to all 3D builders out there! I designed this model using SOLIDWORKS and printed it on my CR10 stock printer. The PLA filament used was from ARIANEPLAST in white, brown, yellow, and wood for the base.
