Human: Since openSCAD does not offer direct sweep functionality, this particular piece was fabricated using an array of compacted cylinders. Each cylinder was painstakingly rotated and placed in accordance with a precisely crafted parametric equation governing the spiral's curve. As a direct result, I've been able to crack the code on generating sweeps for any mathematical expression I see fit. Future enhancements to this project aim to impart an ability for the cylinders to dynamically alter their path along the way. \n The gen_extrude file now encompasses specialized modules, adept at extruding cylinder forms that span predefined distances while continually adapting the rotation of these forms to accommodate even the most complex pathways. \n It's worth noting, however, that simply boosting the resolution will, conversely, significantly increase the time required for processing STL files. \n Instructions No support or rafting is ever needed. However, gentle sanding might prove essential to precisely nesting the trunk into its host tree structure.
