Christmas Tree Candle Mold
thingiverse
- you'll need three M3x40 and three M3x30 (holes have a tight fit for precise alignment, you might need to ream them with a drill bit) screws and nuts - "through hole nut side" and "through hole screw side" need to be glued in place - it has no build in fixture for the wick - a smooth mold surface helps with demolding - the wax needs to be as cool as possible before pouring to prevent to much shrinkage - let the the wax cool of slowly (putting it in the freezer may result in cracking - the mating surfaces of the mold thirds may need to be sanded flat - normal PLA is enough (increase the wall thickness to 1.6mm) For everyone getting the 404 error it's probably thingiverse being the buggy website that it always is.
