Christmas tree

Christmas tree

thingiverse

This is a festive Christmas tree decoration.\nYou can add a soft white LED tea light to create a warm glow, but be sure to use one that meets your expectations, as the ones I used didn't quite fit the bill.\nThe image you see wasn't printed with optimal clarity and it even fell over once or twice, so it's looking a bit rough around the edges.\nI also wanted to add a small ornament to sit atop the tree, but unfortunately I ran out of time, perhaps next year will be different.\nThe strands are connected to a removable wall, which gets taken down afterwards.\n(Refer to picture: post_processing.jpg, note that it's actually for a lion, but the process is essentially the same)\nThis Christmas decoration was printed with green transparent PETG filament, but other materials could work just as well.\nIf you encounter any issues, be sure to adjust your slicer's bridging settings accordingly.\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: Renkforce RF1000\nRafts: No rafts were used\nSupports: None needed\nResolution: 0.2mm for precise details\nInfill: A moderate 15% infill was used\nNotes: This design is specifically tailored for a 0.2 mm layer height.\nPost-Printing instructions and care tips can be found here.
