Christmas tree

Christmas tree

myminifactory

I'm showcasing a Christmas tree setup that incorporates a white LED tea light to create a glowing effect. Unfortunately, the initial LEDs I used didn't meet my expectations, so I opted for a different LED light instead. The photos of this project show some imperfections - the printing quality could have been better, and the structure took a few tumbles before it was finally stable. The result is a slightly messy appearance. I also planned to add a small ornament at the top of the tree but ran out of time, so that remains a future project for the next holiday season. The strands are secured to a removable sacrificial wall that will be taken away once the process is complete - you can see an example in the post_processing.jpg photo. This method works just as well for lions as it does for Christmas trees. This project was printed using green transparent PETG, but other materials should work just fine too. If you encounter any issues, try tweaking your slicer's bridging settings to get the desired outcome.
