This video demonstrates how a collaborative team effort can bring an idea to life, despite varying technical skills. The vase/tree pot was made using a Python script from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:104694). The tree trunk/base/connector was designed in Solidworks, with the trunk fitting directly into the base and a connector required to join two trunks. Tree leaves (small/medium/large) were created using SketchUp/Illustrator, along with snowflakes and stars. Dangling baubles were drawn by hand using Doodle3D (http://doodle3d.com/). The angel topper came from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5049), and the NeoPixel lights were guided by Adafruit's tutorial (http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide). To assemble, print 3 trunks, 2 connectors, 5 small, 5 medium, and 5 large leaves. Connect two trunks with a connector, then attach one trunk straight to the base. Print snowflakes and stars as desired.
