3D printed star for the top of a Christmas tree. Print with natural or translucent PLA for a sparkly look, the perfect finishing touch to your Christmas tree! A convenient hole in the base of the star makes it easy to attach and remove from most Christmas trees. This includes specially designed support (check instructions). Instructions Print your 3D printed star with Raft, three shells, and a fifteen percent infill setting. Standard size is seventy-five millimeters tall, but can be scaled up or down to suit. Carefully cut the designed in support away from the lower tips of the star using side cutters to avoid damaging the tips. The Replicator 2 makes it easy to remove this support with no problem, while the MakerBot on the other hand may have some trouble with the stringing of filament. Use a craft knife to clean up any leftover string. A great way to put the finishing touches on your Christmas tree!
