Christmas Ornament Maze Box

Inspired by the Labyrinth Gift Box, this tree ornament has been built from the ground up to incorporate a message into its maze, sized to fit US paper dollars, and shaped like a Christmas tree. You can insert money or a note for someone to discover on Christmas morning, or even a clue to where their real gift is hidden - but be warned, it's not an easy puzzle to solve without seeing the maze. Another standout feature is the quick-lock mechanism. Simply slide the top onto the base until it clicks into place, and then the only way to remove it again is by navigating through the maze itself. Due to its precise tolerances, you may need to carefully file down the gate on the base so the top slides over smoothly but doesn't slip off. Update: To make the base and top less prone to chipping, I've added new versions with slightly rounded edges.
