Christmas Ornament 2020 - Misltetoe & COVID

This is a Christmas Ornament called "Mistletoe and Covid" for 2020. Some additional pieces need to be bought or made (red bow and colored string), or some other type fun additions that may be particular to you. Main piece is printed in 2 pieces and glued together. The Mistletoe is printed flat, and needs shaped. Berries are small and may need printed with small nozzle and a slow speed. Printed on a Prusa I3 pro W with a .3 nozzle, Silk Gold, White, and Bright Green PLA. NOTE: Shaping the Leaves I boiled water in a measuring cup, then held the leaves in the water for 5-10 secs, then shaped them into position. I found the boiling water makes the model malleable without loosing shape or distorting the print. It also cools very fast, so the change is almost instantaneous and remains strong. You may also want to experiment with the loop end to get the leaves in the locations you want them for the final glue. You can then glue the berries on in various ways. I linked the leaves over one of the Covid arms, then covered that section with the bow (but you can use anything you would like). I find this funny enough to make a statement, yet interesting enough to subtly hang as another ornament on the tree, or over a doorway (for the mistletoe part). Please enjoy!
