Christmas Lights & Tree Lights Skull bulb covers
thingiverse
Ha! The moment was sublime as I unleashed my squad of blazing red skull troops upon my Christmas tree's unsuspecting branches! A phalanx of fiery blue skulls held their ground valiantly to protect the holiday foliage! The spectacle was truly awe-inspiring! Inspired by a simple pencil topper, I enhanced the design to ensure effortless printing - all that remained was to fill in the bottom for an effortless lift-off. Then, with calculated precision, I bored a hole in each skull's cranium at just the right angle, making it an absolute cinch to slot them neatly onto standard Christmas light bulbs. The results were staggering! Forty-eight gleaming skulls lay scattered on my print bed, awaiting their glorious destiny. To bring this wondrous creation to life, I created two batches of radiant prints: a Translucent Red army and a similarly luminous Blue one. The proof is in the pictures - take a glance for yourself! Now, onto the vital stats that made it all possible: **Print Settings** * Printer: Printrbot Plus * No pesky rafts to clear * Supports? No need whatsoever * Resolution: Crisp at 0.2 millimeters * Infill? A robust 10% Rectilinear pattern, that's all! **Post-Printing Magic** Don't overthink it - leave the cleanup process for now and take your first peek once you're ready to insert the bulbs. It might necessitate a quick brush-off, but rest assured, a few stray strands will actually improve the fit. Happy decorating!
