Christmas Light Support - Model Railroad

Christmas Light Support - Model Railroad

I created this design to add interior lighting to a model railroad passenger station, providing sturdy bracing and support for affordable Christmas lights. This simple tooling is essential since I need a large quantity of these components. The commonly used strings of lights operate at approximately 3.5 volts each, so I intentionally avoided connecting them directly to household power due to safety concerns in a hobby setting. Fortunately, suitable power supplies are easily accessible online. In my project, I also 3D printed roof trusses using the same PLA material. These parts were securely attached to the station using PVC glue, specifically designed for plumbing applications. The accompanying STL file contains multiple copies of this part, catering to my need for a large number of components. You can easily adjust the quantity to suit your specific requirements.
