Christmas Light Spooler

Christmas Light Spooler

A simple Christmas light spooler to use with a battery drill.Combine with an 8" or so length of 3/8" threaded rod and a couple 3/8 nuts for an easy way to help clean up your holiday mess.If you decide to print and try this, use the drill on the slowest speed and use the clutch at probably the lowest setting. You probably don't want lights whipping around at 100 mph.Print two pieces. Slide nuts into socket, maybe with a dot of glue. Screw 1st one cone towards spool center on shaft. install spool. Screw 2nd with cone towards center. These work for Philips spools and perhaps others with diameters of .75"-1.25" for the medium and 1.4"-1.9" for the large.
