Christmas Light Shapes – Snowflake, Star, Present

thingiverse

We've had a tradition of decking out our garden every Yuletide season. Over the past five years, we created shapes like stars using bamboo sticks, but they kept breaking in the wind due to the weight of the lights. This year, we're determined to get it right and 3D printing is a great way to tackle problems. Requirements ---------- We'll need: * 16 mm / 5/8" Cable Tubing/Wiring Conduit (get one that's long enough) * Small Screws or some strong glue * Zip Ties * 3D printed parts (see below) Shapes ------ This set of parts makes four different shapes: * Snowflake * Present * Five-Point Star * Five-Point Star with extra reinforcement Check out my video showing you the process: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9D0qNPtFTEA" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> See all the details below! It's probably around Christmas time if you're reading this, so grab a cup of hot cocoa and **have a merry Christmas!**
