I designed a simple hook that clips over a 4.5-inch molding on doors or windows. I created this because I preferred not to rely on unreliable adhesive or risk damaging the solid cast urethane crown molding with screws or nails. After searching, I couldn't find anything like it. The upright tails can be trimmed to fit snugly under your siding, and some of them naturally tipped where they were secure. You can scale these up or down to match your molding perfectly.
