This clip is designed for attaching icicle style hanging Christmas lights to gutters, specifically standard 112mm half round gutters. It's easy to use: simply press the clip onto the front edge from the top of the gutter. The light cable can then be inserted into a smaller round clip by pulling it forward with some force. This design holds up to three cables, which is more than enough for any excess lighting that needs to be folded back on itself. It's also worth noting that this clip replaces an old and potentially hazardous method of attaching lights to soffits using cable ties. Clips like these have been tested in strong winds and heavy rain without shifting or showing any signs of wear, even after a week.
