The list includes Merry Xmas, a heartfelt expression of seasonal cheer, and Peace, a profound message for calm in the midst of festive activity. Next comes Hohoho, the jolly laughter of Saint Nicholas on his Christmas Eve ride, and Joyeux Noël – French, conveying joy and holiday wishes to those who celebrate in this manner. Later added requests included Hyvää Joulua – Finnish, a traditional way to wish happy holidays; God Jul – Swedish, spoken to spread love and joy around the holidays; and สุขสันต์วันคริสต์มาส – Thai (V2 updated 10 Dec), sending greetings from one who cherishes Christmas cheer. Happy New Year with Χρόνια πολλά Greek and Nadolig Llawen Welsh round off these special greetings. To spread the joy and respect tradition Klingon 'May you celebrate honorably', is here represented by batlh bIlopjaj. Additionally, to connect modern traditions Io Saturnalia Latin for the ancient holiday precursor is expressed.
