Christmas Led Bulbs
cults3d
I designed some bulbs used for those cheap led lights that you can buy everywhere these days. I designed the walls to be 0.8mm so that the print will go effectively if you have a 0.4mm nozzle - just two rounds per layer. In standard print resolution my Flashforge printer uses 3.5hrs to print all 5 bulbs and fasteners. Each bulb is designed with a 2mm hole in the top (err or bottom?) so that any rain water will leave the bulb and not damage the leds in case you are using them outside. Print one fastener per bulb - insert the led light wire into the fastener (in the gap created) - then snap on the bulb itself following the trailpin on the bulb. You do not need to screw the bulb using the slot in the fastener - it sticks very well without doing this. I hope you find this a nice (and sligtly cheezy) addition to your led lights. I wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year!!
