Christmas decoration
thingiverse
In Sweden's Christmas traditions, Swedes keep these lights in their windows. Typically, they use small incandescent bulbs. We don't fully understand why we do this, but it may be because it's so dark outside. I decided to create a more entertaining design based on this idea. This LED light show changes color gradually. The lights initially synchronize and then become random over time, creating a soothing effect without being stressful or overwhelming. Some basic soldering is required, but the process is straightforward. I've included an electrical diagram as well as links to necessary components available on eBay. The design operates at 5V DC, which can be supplied through a USB charger or similar USB port using the suggested cable. It consumes less than 200 mA of current.
