Christmas Danish Heart templates
thingiverse
Danish hearts are fun, three-dimensional paper crafts that children love weaving. They're also easy to make with the help of templates for cutting or drawing on paper. The templates come in different sizes - 3, 4, and 5 strip options, as well as a wiggly one. These templates enable you to cut multiple sheets of paper at once using a sharp knife or mark out with a pencil for scissors. Children can even design their own hearts like the example seen in "DanishHearts2.jpg." OpenSCAD files are also available to generate straight line Danish Hearts of any size and number of strips. To create your own Danish heart, print out a template such as "DanishHeart3_A4x4.stl" and follow these steps: 1. Fold a pile of A4 sheets lengthwise (for 70mm wide templates) or widthwise (for 97mm ones). 2. Cut out the shape using the template, aligning the curved edge away from the fold. 3. Weave two cut shapes together at a 90-degree angle, alternating paper colors and always going through loops. 4. Finish by adding a handle and hanging on your Christmas tree - or fill with sweets for a festive touch!
