Christmas Countdown Calendar

This is a remix of Dsk001's Perpetual Flip Calendar (W/ Customizable Font). It has been remixed to be a countdown calendar to Christmas. See Dsk001's published design for more detailed information and instruction. The calendar countdown starts at "25" and decrements to either """13-Merry Christmas" or "13-0" depending on which tile has been inserted. There are two bases one narrow and one with a wide base to add some better stability. You will need to print: 1 box 1 lid 1 roller 2 nuts Optionally print 2 "Days Till Christmas" plaques choice of either base One of each tile with the choice of printing the "13-Merry Christmas" or "13-0" tile. Or use the customizer to design your own tiles. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% Filament: 3D Solutech PLA Various Notes: I did not use Rafts, but to print the tiles I used a 8mm Brim. Cura has a bug in its Brim code which will place a brim inside some of the numbers and text, even with brim on outside only selected. To produce a brim on the outside of the tiles select "skirt," 30 lines, and .01 distance. I did not use supports to print the box and relied on my printer to bridge the viewing window. YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) I printed the roller standing on end with a brim to stabilize it. The nuts were printed with the X and Y dimension scaled by 101% to provide an easier fit.(YMMV) I did two filament changes per tile to vary the colors. The tile skins are thin. I found in most cases it was best to have lighter colors in the center with darker colors for the skins; unless you are looking to have the transparency mixing the colors. Assembly To assemble the countdown calendar arrange the tiles into two stacks in the order shown below: The first stack is with the "25" on top and ends with the "13" on the bottom. The second stack starts with the "01" tile on top and ends with the "11" tile on the bottom. Place the stacks into the box as shown. Place the lid in place and secure with the roller and two nuts.
