This is a sturdy hook designed specifically for securing rope lights on gutters during Christmas decorations. I've always been drawn to the sleek, straight lines of rope lights along roof edges at this time of year. One major challenge I faced was finding a reliable hook that would keep the rope light taut on the gutter without sagging between hooks or being dislodged by weather conditions. This hook effectively addresses these issues, and I can produce as many as I need using my printer. This design is tailored for standard aluminum gutters featuring a folded front top edge approximately 0.6 inches square. It's engineered to securely hold rope lights with a diameter of about 0.5 inches. The hook firmly grips both the gutter and the rope light, ensuring each installation provides a stable mounting point and maintains optimal positioning. For optimal results, it's recommended to print this design using a UV-stable material. I've successfully used white PLA, which blends seamlessly with my gutters.
