This sculpture, crafted by a master artisan in the first half of the 14th Century for the church of Saint Giacomo in Lazzaro alla Tomba, Verona, originates from Sant'Anastasia. The artwork is one of three pieces, showcasing Jesus on the cross. Two other sculptures in this group, also available to download from Scan the World, feature The Madonna and Saint John, vividly illustrating the scene of Jesus dying during crucifixion.
