Chopsticks speaker stand
thingiverse
This is my very first uploaded design ever! I'm not a designer, but I created it for personal use and wanted to give something back by sharing it with the community. I recently needed to elevate my Yamaha Studio monitors and was determined to repurpose an old material while doing so. Since I had plenty of chopsticks on hand, I decided to create this stand using them. Here's a link to a video demonstrating how to make this project: https://youtu.be/dWLW-SJ6TwI To build the stand, you'll need to print two copies of the file, which will give you one complete stand. Cut each chopstick into its thickest part, about 10cm long, and use four chopsticks for each stand. For added durability, I filled hot glue inside each hole before gluing the chopsticks together quickly. Feel free to experiment with any type of thick wood stick that fits within a 3.1mm hole radius (6.2mm total diameter). However, please be aware that you're working with potentially unstable materials, and I'm not responsible if your stand collapses or becomes overloaded for any reason! Use your best judgment and understand the limitations of this design. Here are my print settings: Printer: Tevo Tarantula i3 Rafts: Doesn't matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: Adjust infill as needed to achieve desired strength.
