Chopper Blade Storage Box

Chopper Blade Storage Box

My wife received this vegetable chopper as a gift (it was purchased on amazon.com). The blades are wonderfully sharp which is great for chopping, but there is no good storage solution for the blades when not in use. I designed this to either stand and provide a 5 degree angle to keep the blades in place or it can be kept on it's back as well. The hole in the back of the print allows you to push the locking tab to eject the blade of your choice.I chose black PETG for this print so that it would have a glossy appearance and I'm very happy with the end result. This took about 9 hours to print on my MK4 with input shaping. The fit for the blades were snug, so depending on the tolerances of your printer, you may want to scale up the model 1% or 2%. If you use the STL, you will need to rotate the model on it's back. No supports are required. Recommended Infill: 15% Adaptive Cubic (Prusa Slicer)Layer Height 0.2mmFilament Used: 187g (approximately)Product name: “Mueller 4-Blade Onion Chopper, Vegetable Chopper, Grape Cutter, Egg and Cheese Slicer with Container”ASIN: B07SVBY6BH
