All I did was split the original STL (with both pieces) into two pieces so that each piece can be properly aligned on the print bed (in the original, the bottom could only be printed vertically, and supports would've been needed for the slot). Use a 5" length of 5/16" threaded rod in the hinge, with nuts and washers as shown. (M8 rod might also work (it's only about 2.46 mils larger), but it's not readily available in stores here.) (I almost cut the rod from a 3' length with another 3' rod temporarily installed, but the cutting discs that came with my rotary tool were too small. I need larger discs, or a suitable blade if it exists.) Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 40% Notes: I used opaque black PETG for this.
