Choke Test Cylinder
thingiverse
To ensure toy safety for children below 3, print a choke hazard test cylinder. If an object fits entirely inside this cylinder, it's considered a choking hazard. Recently, I printed the file and found it effective. It's interesting to see objects that almost don't fit, like a 2-prong apple plug. If you're creating toys for young kids, be sure to use this test. More file formats are being added, including .obj. I also started a model in Rhino for better results. Additionally, it could be beneficial if MakerWare had an optional feature that checks for choking hazards among printed parts on the print bed. If you have SketchUp scripting experience and are interested, let me know!
