Various choke solutions for DLE and similar gas RC motors require careful assembly to function properly. Firstly, the choke knob (r3.stl) and the choke unit (r3.stl) need to be connected together using a thin wire, approximately 2.5 to 3 mm in diameter. The wire should be bent at a 90-degree angle at each end, securing it firmly in place with glue. The control arms, also known as levers, can be used in conjunction with either a servo or a manual control rod. The recommended size for the rod is 2mm, allowing for smooth and precise control over the choke unit. To connect the choke unit to the carburator, use 2mm bolts. However, if you prefer to use 2.5mm bolts, they may require drilling out to fit securely. It's worth noting that these levers can also be used on certain throttle setups, but they might need some modifications to function correctly. When printing the parts, it's essential to use a high-temperature filament such as ABS or ASA. PLA can also work, but it depends heavily on the engine cooling system. To ensure proper support and stability, print the parts with 0.15mm or 0.2mm layer thickness and 100% infill. The included 123design files provide a comprehensive guide for printing and assembly.
