New lid for:“U.S. POOL SUPPLY Pool Floating Collapsible Chlorine 3" Tablet Chemical Dispenser, 7" Diameter Floater- Adjustable Balanced Chemical Delivery” on amazon.T-Glase aka ~PETG is a stringy mess, and I don’t know perfect settings so the locking tabs needed some love from a file, but after that, it fits like a friggen pair of tight pants on a hipster. I deliberately made the grabby/twisty part smaller to dissuade the littles from trying to taste the sourest sweet tart of their lives, made the fit as tight as was practical, made it lower profile, which requires it to be pried/lifted out with a screwdriver or pocket knife, which further prevents littles from learning why chlorine tablets have warning labels all over it.20210730, edit: Upon weeks of use, this seemed to have swelled up, making it too difficult to remove without using tools/pliers. So, in summary, it's better than original lid, but still sorta sucks. I would scale down the size by a few percent if I were to make another one. But before that happened, the giant piece of garbage chlorine float this was for failed, the bottom literally fell off, dumping its guts into the pool. You know what, just skip all of this, shove the chlorine tablets into an old sock, tie that sock to a hunk of styrofoam, then POW! it will never fail.
