Chlamydia Bacteria Thrive Inside Host Cell Nucleus. Colorful Microscopic Images Reveal a Complex Relationship. The Chlamydia Bacterium (Vibrant Green) is Clearly Visible in the Nucleus of its Host Cell (Bright Cyan). This Astonishing Image was Captured on a State-of-the-Art Zeiss Airyscan 880 Microscope, Utilizing Expansion Microscopy to Enhance Detail. The Surface Boundaries of both the Host Cell and Bacterium were Artfully Created using Aivia Software. Special Thanks to Heather Brown-Harding of Wake Forest University for Sharing this Stunning Visual with the Scientific Community.
