Check out the updated version at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:305204 for Loki's Chitauri Scepter from The Avengers (2012) replica. This 96 cm long staff was used by Loki to mind control Hawkeye and escape the S.H.I.E.L.D. compound, but it won't grant you similar abilities in real life. However, feel free to improve upon this design. The model may require some fault fixing during construction and usage, as a redesign is underway. To print and assemble the staff, use ABS with 2 shells, 0.2 layer height, and 10% infill. Some pieces will need support. The files are available in .stl format for Makerbot Replicator and .skp for other slicing needs. Remember to use the matching .stl file names when following assembly instructions. If you don't have a 3D printer, try using wood or other carvable materials with the design files as a guide. The post-cutting process will remain similar.
