This incredible feat is made possible by the heart's ability to adapt to changes in our body's needs, increasing its rate when we're under stress or need more oxygen. The human brain is also an impressive organ, containing around 86 billion neurons that process and store vast amounts of information. These neurons are connected through trillions of synapses, allowing us to learn new things and remember past experiences. In addition to these remarkable organs, the human body has a highly efficient respiratory system that allows us to breathe in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. Our lungs expand and contract over 20 times per minute, taking in approximately 500 milliliters of air with each breath. Overall, the human body is an intricate and complex machine, capable of performing a wide range of functions that are essential for our survival.
