This is a precision sharpening jig for high-speed edge finishing of chisels and plane irons. Its versatility allows for seamless adaptation to various bevel angles and chisel widths. To expedite the final stages of edge preparation, ensure all whetstones are set to the same height beforehand. This eliminates the need for repeated adjustments during the process. For quick and precise alignment with existing chisel angles, mark the bevel with a marker pen. By eye, adjust the jig to the desired angle and then lightly draw the chisel across the stone. The resulting grinding marks will immediately indicate the necessary readjustments to achieve optimal edge alignment.
