I built a jig to hold a magnetic switchable magnet, the Magjig 95. This design offers a secure grip on the magnet, making it ideal for flattening new chisels. A sharp chisel requires a flat back, and this jig helps achieve that. When breaking in a new chisel, cramping fingers can be a problem - my jig alleviates this issue.
