Chisel/ File Handle - Bulb-Style End

<p>Fillowing on from my original File Handle and the Hex Key long axis mount, here is a remix between the two, i.e. a similar profile to the bulb shape at the back of the hex key handle (<a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3605461">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3605461</a>), applied for use this time with a chisel (or file).</p> <p>The hole for the tang of the chisel or file is the same as the previous file handle (<a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3490434">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3490434</a>), so any adjustments to the width or depth of this hole by drilling etc. can be made similarly as before.</p> <p>There is a slight change to the profile of the ferrule (a little neater) and the inserts are very slightly smaller to enable an easier fit.</p> <p>Enjoy!</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p><p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>i3 MK3</p></div><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>Doesn't Matter</p> <p><p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Doesn't Matter</p></div><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2mm Quality</p> <p><p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>20-30% for strength as a tool handle</p></div><br/> <strong>Filament:</strong><br/> Generic PLA Colour to suit. <br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong> </p><div><p>Brims used by default to save on filament (and the environment!)</p> Much the same method and process as previously with the first file handle (Thing:3490434) - check this out for further info.</div></p> </p></p></p> Category: Hand Tools
