thingiverse
Currently working on designs for Rail Mounted ED3 Hemera, aiming to expand the top clearance to a full 100% on both sides. Redesigned the mounts for the front and rear sections, adapting to the changed angles while also increasing their thickness. Printed with a 0.6mm nozzle at a speed of 50mm/sec, using 8 top and bottom layers along with 8 outline layers, and achieved an infill level of 90%. Although less infill could have sufficed, why settle for anything less? The print material is ABS, resulting in slightly thicker and wider prints compared to the original version. Hole diameters were initially set at 10mm but I'm opting for the more accessible 3/8" rod instead, which measures approximately 9.5mm – close enough. Additional photos will be added once assembly is complete; for now, only one side and a single rod are secured in place, already feeling significantly more solid than before.
