The design is not very pretty, but it is very functional. I'm a rookie and this piece is made with Tinkercad, I know sorry. It helps to support the Nema 17 on the Y axis allowing an extra stepper damper to be added to the rear of the motor as well . It works great for me. Feel free to modify it and make it more attractive. I recommend adding the stepper damper since otherwise you will be forced to temporarily unscrew the four rear screws of the motor at the risk of damaging it. Adding the stepper damper you only have to remove 2, that way there is no risk of disassembling the motor. Remember that the screws you remove from the motor will no longer works, so you must to have a 12mm to 14mm longer. You also have to add 2 - M4 screws and 2 - T Slot Nuts to attach it to the 2020 aluminum profile.
