I was unable to find many suitable cooling duct options for the stock sheet metal hot end assembly, most designs centered around 3D printing an entirely new mount assembly for the heat sink and parts cooling fan. I personally preferred the look of the original box so I wanted to design something that would bolt up directly to it. I have two Chiron printers, one equipped with a volcano hot end and the other with a stock hot end, both running Klipper firmware and capable of feeding at much faster rates than the stock parts cooling fan, which was essentially useless in my opinion. These new 5015 ducts significantly improved cooling for my printers. To mount the duct, you will need longer M3 x 12mm bolts, while a single M3-4 x 22mm long bolt is required to secure the fan within the duct. Two STL files are provided: one for the stock hot end and another for use with a volcano heat block. Additionally, I have included STLs for extended end stop flags and a probe spacer block designed for use with a volcano hot end. The probe spacer block requires longer M3 x 20mm long bolts. Note that it is crucial to remove the probe spacer block after installation due to its proximity to the heat block; any printed materials will melt under standard 3D printer conditions. Mount it only when the hot end is cool, and then promptly remove it once your z offsets are established.
