Chiron total mod - BIG ENCLOSURE for 2 printers
thingiverse
This is a precise replica of big enclosure for Anycubic Chiron and I3 Mega, along with filament storage. Every measurement matches my previous enclosure exactly. Chiron is currently stuck inside. To free it, you must first remove the profile on the side panel. There's roughly 5-10mm of clearance on each side (including full table movement), so space is limited. Materials used include: 10 meters of aluminum profile, type "used," purchased for 60€. 46 L-type connectors with a 90° angle, costing 40€. 10mm plywood for the floor, priced at 30€ for five pieces. Four wheels with brakes for 360° rotation, totaling 15€. Four steel profiles measuring 10cm x 45x45x2 mm, used for wheel attachment, priced at 10€. 14 special hinges for glass, designed specifically for this purpose, costing 20€. Six meters of aluminum profile for LED strips, purchased for 10€. Five meters of 5050 type 72W LED strips, also bought for 10€. One kilogram of M8x16 spherical head screws and flanged M8 nuts, totaling 5€. Approximately 3.75 square meters of polycarbonate with a thickness of 4mm (front) and 3mm (sides), priced around 80€. The estimated total cost is approximately 280€. Overall, the idea itself is excellent but the high cost is somewhat discouraging. However, once completed, it will undoubtedly look fantastic. Everything is neatly organized in one place, making everything easily visible.
