Chiron BMG Extruder Adaptor

Chiron BMG Extruder Adaptor

This is a compact adapter that adjusts the position of the filament sensor so it's in line with my new BMG extruder clone from China, which works flawlessly. I've made it a precise fit, allowing the sensor to simply push in without needing screws. You might encounter an issue if you force it too hard, but rest assured, users won't do that. For those curious about the BMG extruder, I purchased one on eBay from China. Since it's a clone, I had to reverse the stepper motor wires because the BMG extruder is driven in reverse. To assemble this mod, use the screws provided with the BMG extruder and attach them directly to your Chiron bracket. Simply screw the little screw through the bracket into the stepper motor, and place the extruder on top of it. Then, secure everything using the three long screws supplied. Remember to print this adapter upright. It's essential to calibrate your extruder after completing this modification.
