Chipboard edge drilling jig
grabcad
To simplify drilling blind holes for screws or dowels on chipboard edges, you can create a jig using a hobby square and PVC sheets of varying thicknesses. Simply align the holes for the bushes with the scale on the square's thick arm, ensuring they are the same distance from each end as the arm's width. This improvisational jig allows for drilling at various diameters such as 3.5, 4, 5, and 7mm, with spacers available for 18, 22, and 25mm chipboards. Don't forget to include screws for assembly and adjustment in your design.
