This shield proves incredibly effective at keeping chip dust from settling on ball screws and bearings. It also greatly minimizes the area where small light chips can become airborne - a huge plus when it comes to plastic milling. When using this shield, try to print it with ABS filament if possible, as it has some natural flexibility. The model isn't specifically optimized for ABS (adding 1% to the X and Y planes in your preferred slicer program helps account for heat shrinking).
