Chintendo CbI4 ("Чинтендо СЫЧ") Tablet gamepad enclosure case
thingiverse
Here is my version of a tablet gaming device, Chintendo CB4 ("CB4" sounds like Switch). I wanted to play Skyrim on the road to work without breaking the bank. Someone suggested buying a Nintendo Switch or GPD Win, but I thought, "I can build my own Switch with Black-Jack and style." My setup starts with an affordable Windows 8 tablet from Bravis WX189 (8" | Intel Atom Z3735F | 1GB) for around $45. To complete the gaming experience, I found a cheap USB gamepad for around $6. The gamepad's form factor is inspired by Xbox One and WiiU designs. The trigger buttons, D-pad, and analog sticks come from a donor gamepad that can be printed or sourced from online models. To assemble this DIY console, you'll need bolts (M3x25, M3x10, M3x12), nuts (M3), a male MicroUSB connector, a female MicroUSB on-board, a 6-pin switch, a donor gamepad, thin wire, and basic soldering tools. Optional extras include flat ribbon cables from old printers or any substitute wires. After testing the device for a week, everything works smoothly. This DIY project can be adapted to various devices or even paired with a Bluetooth module. The Fuson360 source code is included for enthusiasts to customize their own gaming experience.
