The CH-47 Chinook is a versatile, twin-engine, tandem rotor heavy-lift helicopter. Its contra-rotating rotors eliminate the need for an anti-torque vertical rotor, allowing all power to be used for lift and thrust. The high polygon model of this transport helicopter includes interior detailing. The 3ds Max 2013 created model comes with textures in TGA format (20 at 8K resolution and 2 at 4K). Maya 2015 users should, however, note that the 8K texture files will not display correctly; they need to be reduced to 4K for optimal viewing. The set includes files in various formats including 3ds Max 2013, OBJ (multi-format), FBX (2015), and Maya 2015.
