A circa-770BC Zhou Dynasty Chinese war chariot model is exhibited; earlier versions had fewer spokes. The carriage measured 0.914m lengthwise and 1.65m in width, pulled by two horses. Typically, three armored warriors were aboard, each with specific roles: the charioteer drove, the archer was the primary assaulter, while the third man offered close-combat defense.
