Paper lanterns are a type of thin, brightly colored lantern made from paper. They come in various shapes, sizes, and construction methods. The simplest form is just a paper bag with a candle inside, while more complicated ones feature collapsible bamboo or metal frames covered in tough paper. Some lanterns are even made from colored silk or vinyl. Silk lanterns have a metal expander and are adorned with Chinese characters and designs. Vinyl lanterns, on the other hand, are incredibly durable and can withstand rain, sunlight, and wind. They last longer than paper lanterns, which often break easily. The gold paper on them eventually fades to pale white, while the red silk turns into a pink-red mix. You can print off a similar design in bright red filament and decorate it as you see fit! I removed the tassel's support so it can also be used separately.
