In order to safeguard PRC interests in the contested Spratly Islands within the South China Sea, during the early 1990s, the People's Liberation Army Navy required an immediate construction project to build six extra Type 053H frigates for its South Sea Fleet. This detailed low-poly naval model packet by Camelot Inc. was crafted using 3dsMax 9 software, ensuring exceptional virtual simulation and training capabilities along with still rendering and animation performance. To ensure complete accuracy and precision, we employed a CAD program to meticulously recreate the ship's 3-view drawing from real-world documentation. Every thumbnail image was produced using 3dsMax 9's built-in scanline rendering engine directly from the original package, offering high-fidelity visual representation.
