Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan, specifically the Khaibullinsky District, was the site of excavations at Necropolis Perevolochan-2 in 2008. Unearthed within Kurgan number 3 and Burial number 2 were artifacts suggesting a possible Chinese origin. Dating back to the Iron Age, these relics are associated with the Savromat culture, placing them firmly within the second half of the 5th century BC to the IV century BC time frame.
