**Spindle Mount** A compact spindle mount that marries an MPCNC to a 52mm cylindrical spindle perfectly. Bolts securely to standard MPCNC tool mounts using eight M4 20mm bolts and two M4 25mm bolts, which tighten the bands firmly in place. It holds the spindle at both ends, as close as possible to the Z axis, minimizing play in XY and Z directions effectively. **Cable Guard** The exposed fan on the Chinese spindle is a hazard that threatens to wrap power cables or strip insulation off them. This cable guard ensures your cables stay safe from wandering into the fan. It must be printed in ABS because the Chinese 52mm spindle hits temperatures of around 70 degrees Celsius, which demands high-temperature resistance. **Electronics Safety Cover** The Chinese 52mm spindle controller terminals are uncovered and pose a significant risk. These terminals handle 120/240VAC and motor terminals that peak at 300V (averaged over a 33% duty cycle produce the equivalent of 100VDC), making them extremely hazardous if left exposed. This quick design provides an effective solution, covering these live terminals and preventing people from inadvertently touching them. **Dust Extraction** A dust extraction system is a significant challenge with any spindle mount. This design attempts to provide a worthwhile solution, although it's entirely experimental. Note that this design does not solve the problem of setting the nozzle height, which remains a challenge. A fixed height vacuum boot features dual 13mm (outer diameter) hose mounts that can be attached to a household vacuum cleaner for dust extraction. The clear flexible PVC hose has an outer diameter of 13mm/inner diameter of 10mm and press fits into the dust shoe with some effort, easily clipping into the upper spindle mount. How you suspend the hoses is up to your discretion. Two PVC hoses join together to connect to your vacuum cleaner, which can be a standard household model like mine in Australia. I've added extra filters for enhanced performance. The hose outer diameter is 42.5mm when the hand-held nozzle is removed, but I'm considering keeping it on and creating an additional adapter to simplify maintenance.
